Loadout attachments
Set up your loadout with perks and equipment before heading into a match. The gun work is five attachment slots.
Change out sights, magazines, grips, suppressors, and other attachments to get your gun how you want it.
- sights
- Sights are the optic you mount before the round.
- magazines
- Magazines are the ammunition body on the gun.
- grips
- Grips are the handle you fit under or around the gun.
- suppressors
- Suppressors are the muzzle piece on the gun.
- other attachments
- Other attachments are the fifth slot, for pieces outside the four above.
Perks and equipment are part of the pre-match setup. The five slots do not include individual perk names or equipment names.

Five slots, one gun
Those words name categories, not a catalog of optics, magazine sizes, or muzzle pieces. Use the five slot names as the checklist before you queue.
Sights cover the optic. Magazines cover the ammunition body. Grips cover the handle. Suppressors cover the muzzle piece. Other attachments are the leftover category for pieces that are not one of those four.
Perks and equipment are a pre-match step, and their individual names are not in the slot list. Set them in the match setup after you pick the five categories. There is no perk catalog beside the slots.
Attachments as rewards come from weapon challenges, which is a different track from the slots themselves. The slots tell you what kind of piece you can change. The challenge track tells you how those pieces are earned.
What to do with the slots
Build the gun before you queue. A sight changes what you can hold at range. A magazine changes how you reload. A grip changes how the gun sits. A suppressor changes the muzzle. Anything left goes in other attachments.
Skins are not an attachment slot. New skins come from kills with each gun, on the reputation track. Weapons and equipment open up as you play matches and level up. Keep those rewards separate from the five slot names.
Damage numbers, recoil charts, and a best optic are not part of the slot list. Take the five categories into the gun screen and read the pieces the game offers you.
When a match asks for perks and equipment, set them in the game before you deploy. Then change the five attachment categories until the gun feels right. The mode you picked still decides the win condition.
